A new build located just down the road from us in Surbiton. This project consisted of the design and installation of 19 No. 89R CHS Helical Screw Piles via an excavator mounted torque head.

We encountered difficult soils in the form of very dense ballast over London Clay. However, we managed to overcome these issues through the combined use of our pre-augering tools and PD25 torque head. This enabled piles to pass through the initial ballast and found within competent geology beneath.

The client for this project was particularly impressed with our high level of communications and speed of quotation turn around, in addition to rig availability. It was also important to this client that we overcame the issues on site, with no extra costs.
